Scholarship Information Requirement

On Oct. 2, 2026, under the recommendation of the Office of the Provost with review by the Web Advisory Council, a new Content, Scholarship Information (5.13) requirement was added. It requires websites to omit any and all scholarship information other than the following approved statement:

"For information about scholarships, please visit VCU Scholarships."

Importance

VCU Scholarships is the official source for scholarship information and is subject to strict compliance requirements. It is paramount that university web properties do not pose a legal compliance risk or cause confusion and frustration with inconsistent, incorrect, or outdated scholarship information.
